The Carpenters Arms is located in the tranquil village of Stanton Wick, Pensford which is situated in the heart of the Chew Valley. We are conveniently located 8.5 miles from Bristol Airport and 8 miles from the historic city of Bath. The West Country provides great, local beef and lamb and when in season local game. We buy fish from our day boats in Brixham delivered fresh 6 days a week. Our menus change according with the seasons along with our chefs specials To complement our food, we have an extensive Wine List with a wine to suit all tastes. We combine New World favourites with traditional wines, as well as a selection of Champagnes, Sparkling Wine & after dinner drinks. We pride ourselves on having a good selection of fine ales; Butcombe, Doom Bar and a guest ale. There is also a wide selection of malt whiskies, gins, vodkas, liqueurs and aperitifs. Our private Function Room accommodates parties up to 16 people on one block table or up to 23 people on a ‘U’ shaped table. For slightly smaller groups we have our Log Room. The Log Room can seat up to 12 people on a block table. Both rooms have great atmosphere and have a log effect gas fire. Menus can be specially prepared to suit any occasion.
