Our Garden Room will be a beautiful space with daily a la carte dining as well as a calendar of special events. Both featuring produce-led dining overlooking the idyllic Somerset countryside.

A La Carte dining from Wednesday to Friday, available for bookings and walk-ins, showcasing seasonal produce from local land and waters. If you’d joined us at the Pony & Trap for our A La Carte or Pub Classics menu, Garden Dining will be familiar to you. When we return though we’ll be focusing even more on ensuring our produce is as local and in-season as possible, and dishes are informal and uncomplicated. Guests will be welcome to enjoy a walk through our gardens and orchard before or after dining. Our special event listings will take place at weekends, with a focus on outstanding quality local produce from trusted suppliers and the Pony Garden. Coming soon: Steak Night: the finest, most traceable beef from the Chew Valley reared and hung with purpose. Choose your cut from the whole cow. Fish & Shellfish Dinner: a Pony favourite. A true celebration of the best seafood the South West Coasts have to offer. Sunday Roasts: with a focus on premium sharing cuts of meat. Expect a lamb leg for your whole table, or a whole chicken and a forerib for six to share.
