Cafe Bovisands is snugged away on the South Hams along side the Coastal Path where many walkers take a stroll and take in the spectacular scenery as they stay fit..The breathtaking view which is the nearest point to the Plymouth Breakwater which encompasses the view where land literally meets the sea with a constantly moving picture from vessels leaving or coming into Plymouth sound.Far and beyond the back drop is of Mount Edgecombe and the beaches of Cawsands. The beaches ( three of them) at Bovisand are popular all year round but peak in the Summertime teaming with locals and holiday makers,within walking distance are caravans to own or rent..or if you prefer chalets or log cabins. As you can imagine the Sunsets looking West from here are worth every effort you make. We make a variety of Cakes and scones daily to make sure you have enough energy to take on your day. If that does not hit the note try our cool refreshments and many flavours of proper ice cream. The Cafe has a Retro theme old crockery and China are part of the charm as is the decor and wall coverings of the room.We like to think it appeals to ages....we welcome private bookings and celebrations and we also have a table license..nice for those Summer Sunset watchers.
