Quality sourcing from local butchers, farms, growers and fishermen combined with simple, yet excellent, cooking skills from Gavin Castle our head chef and his team. We have built up a dedicated local following, especially for our Sunday roasts which we believe are without equal in the area. We were delighted to be finalists in The Devon Life Devon magazine Food and Drinks Award for the Best Sunday Roast in Devon 2016, and again in 2018, a big thank you to all our customers who supported and voted for us. Our menus change daily to reflect changing produce as available throughout the seasons. Our reputation for serving great pub food has increased and we are honoured to have been featured in the Devon Life magazine.
