The Hobnails Inn is a 15th century character Inn located in Little Washbourne, near Tewkesbury. It was originally built in 1280 and then opened to the public in 1473 as a public house. It is suggested that the name ‘Hobnails’ came from the Tewkesbury Nail Making Industry as a Hobnail is a short nail with a thick head used to increase the durability of boots & shoes. This Grade ll Listed building exudes bags of character with open beams and a welcoming log fire for those winter days, where you can see the pub in times a past. For the warmer weather there is a large garden opening up to the beautiful countryside, with plenty of seating for alfresco dining and room for the children to play. We at the Hobnails Inn offer a good traditional food, good wine and fine Real Ales and a welcoming smile!
