Owned and run by Proprietors Mark & Ali Hurst, Tides is the culmination of over 50 years combined experience in the catering industry! From Cruise Liners to Branded Restaurants, from Four Star Hotels to Fine Dining Restaurants, we have dreamed of one day putting all of our combined experiences into our very own restaurant and we are very proud to have accomplished this with the opening of Tides in July 2007. Our mission is simple: top quality ingredients sourced from local suppliers, freshly prepared to order on the premises, traditional home cooked dishes, genuine friendly service in a relaxed and warm atmosphere, at prices that are affordable and great value for money. Our menus mean there is something for everyone. Our Breakfast Menu has a great range of traditional breakfast dishes, from a full English Breakfast to Eggs Benedict. Our Daytime and our Evening Menus both feature traditional, homemade dishes that are suitable for all tastes and generations. We also have daily specials with fresh fish and seasonal dishes featuring prominently. And all of our meat & fish is British, delivered daily by our local suppliers. Be sure to leave room for our home made puddings! Crumbles, Trifles, Sundaes, Pies, there is always something to round off your dining experience with us. We pride ourselves on preparing fresh food on the premises and are happy to accommodate your requests where possible.
