A welcoming Inn offers something for all seasons, a cosy open fire to warm yourself next to on a chilly Winters evening while in the Summer we have a large garden that will keep the kids entertained.

The Squirrel Inn Battle, is a family run Freehouse that welcomes your family, friends, children and dogs, set in the heart of 1066 country in East Sussex. We pride ourselves on our menus that change frequently to reflect seasonal availability of our wonderful local produce. All of our meat is free-range and our beef is aged nearby in Ewhurst, our fish is sustainably sourced from day boats in Hastings. We sell locally sourced ales including from just 1/2 a mile down the road at Battle Brewery and from Harvey's, Lewes. Our bar has a wide selection of over 45 different Gins, 12 Vodkas and 10 Rums, so there is something to suit every palate, we also offer a large variety of wines by the glass.
