The Shepherd and Crook

Restaurant

You must visit the Shepherd and Crook as it is a hidden gem.

The Shepherd and Crook are an 18th Century Free House set in the picturesque village of Burmarsh, Kent. This charming pub has its unique character and is a fascinating place to visit.

The Shepherd and Crook are full of antiquities including a blow lamp collection. Set next door to the 12th Century Norman Church, the pub hosts friendly locals, a log fire for colder days, and an enticing sun terrace for those warmer days. Both bars are dog friendly. We serve a fine selection of beer, wine, and cider. Supporting local breweries with our well-kept real ales, and if you are a cider drinker you’ll be impressed with our range of 9 cask ciders. Our food is cooked to order using local produce, where possible. We have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options.
