We at Mahfil, are deeply connected to our roots. From a small village in East of Bangladesh our great grandfather used to grow fresh vegetables along with catching fresh fish to be cooked for their evening meal gathering (Mahfil) which the whole family would get together to eat. Once in a fortnight he would invite the local villagers and have a small celebration as he had passion for cooking food and loved the feeling of a friendly gathering. After the 1971 war our great grandfather along with his family immigrated to the UK. Soon after this in 1974 his sons started their first venture in the catering industry which from there the catering business expanded successfully. Now we at Mahfil are taking it forward by using our traditions and roots but keeping it simply authentic whilst giving it a modern twist.The management believes in serving a good meal, even though it takes time - making all of our meals is freshly made. We use only absolute fresh top quality ingredients, which are blended with exotic fragrant spices, to produce a wide variety of subtle flavours and taste sensations.
