Our fresh produce has been either been made at Wayside, grown or sourced locally. We love making our delicious homemade jams, marmalade, chutney, pickles, pies, quiches, cakes and scones.

The amazing free-range Wayside breakfast menu is served 7 days a week from 9:30am – 12 noon, it is always best to book at weekends to avoid disappointment. Tom’s Sausage is very popular!! The traditional Wayside tearoom menu is available 7 days a week 9:30 – 4pm and ranges from scones and teacakes to quiche and sandwich plates. The seasonal specials are available 7 days a week 12 noon – 3pm and varies throughout the year. During Autumn and Winter, we have hearty options such as ‘Bubble and Squeak with Crispy Bacon and a Poached Egg’ and a Sunday Roast (12:30 – 3pm) to warm you up (the roast is also available as a takeaway when it is on the menu). In Spring we have our renowned Asparamenu (as seen on Escape to the Country and James Martin’s Kitchen). In summer we specialise in all things plum. We always have at least a dozen cakes and traybakes on offer throughout the day. A perfect accompaniment to our; carefully selected, triple certified, Bristol Twenty 442 coffee or Bristol Twenty Breakfast Tea. After 2pm we offer a delectable Afternoon Tea which amalgamates a selection of these treats and is presented on vintage crockery for a classic retro afternoon celebration.
