The Blue Boar Inn is located in the heart of the rural Warwickshire countryside, in the village of Temple Grafton between Shakespeare`s Stratford-upon-Avon and the Roman market town of Alcester.

With traditional charm and attractive original features The Blue Boar Inn represents the best of an Old English Country Pub - where traditional values and atmosphere still survive. The oldest part of The Blue Boar dates from the early 1600's and records show that it has been an ale house since that time. The Bar is filled with authentic original character and history, with pictures on the wall, original documentation and memorabilla complementing the charming open fire and original flagstones. The glass covered well in the restaurant bar is some 35 feet deep and its pure water has been used in the brewing process in the past. It's now the home of a family of goldfish. Cooler Autumn days bring life to our open fires in the bar and restaurant areas, whereas the sunshine of spring offers the opportunity to relax outside in our patio garden and enjoy the extensive views towards the Cotswold Hills The Blue Boar Inn has a great reputation for food from diners around the world. Our kitchen team continues to serve up great quality food, both in the A`la carte restaurant and in the bar areas, which offer good old pub grubs. Our menus are all about fresh pub food, although we do add something differentand unique to encourage new tastes and experience. We keep the traditional favourites on the menu - although chef is constantly trying to improve on their flavour and presentation. The specials change on a weekly basis to reflect the finest, freshest produce available locally. Please do not fill yourself up on the mains - you have to try our delicious homemade desserts. They have to be seen and tasted to be believed. (Not recommended for the waistline!). We serve breakfast, lunch and evening meal and also cater for family functions, business meetings and coach parties.
