We are a Family Friendly #Glamping Site in #Northumberland. Activities on site. Restaurant. Wedding Venue. Beautiful views. Children and dogs welcome. Our Licensed cafe/bistro seats up to 55 people. Opening times Open 7 days per week Easter until September 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Open 5 days per week October until Easter 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays We are closed from 1st January until 17th February 2018 We serve a superb range of mouthwatering Borewell Breakfasts, mid-morning coffees with homemade scones and cakes, lite bite lunches or an afternoon treat! As we are licensed you can even enjoy a glass of wine or a beer with your meal too. Breakfasts consist of a full “Borewell Breakfast” or you could choose Sausage and Bacon Rolls, Fruity pancakes with maple syrup or cereal and toast if thats what you fancy. Breakfasts are served daily from 9 a.m until 11 a.m Mid-morning coffees and teas served with homemade scones, cakes and traybakes. We have a range of speciality teas and for your caffeine fix you can choose from Espresso, Cappuccino, Latte or Mocha. Julie and her team make all our scones, cakes and traybakes on site. They are all made with free range eggs and real butter. Our homemade scone selection varies on a daily basis but it doesn’t matter what flavour you choose – they are all to die for! Lite bite lunches are served daily and you can rest assured that our meals are all homemade in our kitchen using local produce as and when we can. This will ensure that you will always get the fabulous taste of Northumberland as and when we can. Lite bite lunches include fresh homemade soup of the day served with either a warmed crusty roll or a sandwich of your choice. Steak Baguettes or Paninis, 100% Beef burgers from well hung and tender, quiche of the day, croque monsieur and homemade fishcakes. We also have a daily special menu which varies depending on the time of year. We also have a Childrens Menu for our younger visitors including cheesy pasta, burgers and sausage rolls. Mid-week special - soup and a sandwich of your choice for just £7.25 Sunday is a special day with our two or three course Roast Sunday Lunch being served between 12 noon and 2.30 p.m. It is Sunday Roast at its best with a choice of roast meats, all of which are locally sourced and served with all the trimmings and Julie’s Homemade Yorkshire Puddings and a selection of freshly prepared vegetables. Homemade Cheesecakes, Meringues and Chocolate Brownies served with Giacopazzis Ice Cream are just a few of the mouthwatering desserts on offer from Julie and Emma.
