The Shoulder of Mutton pub located in the heart of rural Northumberland,between Morpeth and Alnwick.

Offering a wide range of food and drink, including regional, national and international specialities there is something for everyone.

We're the perfect stop off point for journeys between England and Scotland, or for those wishing to base themselves in a central location. We're close to the renowned Northumbrian coast, 25 minutes from the buzzing city of Newcastle upon Tyne, 30 minutes from the Cheviot Hills and well within reach of Hadrians Wall if you fancied a day trip. The Boundary Restaurant is our very own dining area. Monday to Thursday: 12pm - 3pm and 5pm - 8pm Friday to Saturday: 12-9 Sunday Carvery: 12-6 (Please note timings are subject to change during holidays and bank holidays) We also cater for parties, just let us know how many you have coming and we'll reserve a table for you.
