Off the beaten track, halfway between York and Harrogate. From our beer drinking regulars, the walkers and their dogs to daytrippers from the river and families and friends who love a good Sunday lunch. The Restaurant - Heading up the front of house is Enzo, who believes in thoughtful and well-informed service. Our chefs have cooked their way around the world and are a real class act in the kitchen. The Barn - A private hideaway behind the pub. Very comfortably seating up to 30 (and more standing!), we'd be delighted to help plan your exclusive use of The Barn. The Garden - Where raised beds supply the kitchen with some (though not all!) fruit, veg and cut flowers. The village school works one bed, so children and staff can enjoy their home grown produce. The Bar - Where dogs and wellies are welcome! We serve well kept Timothy Taylor’s Landlord and local brews from Yorkshire Heart, based just outside the village.
