The Gallery Cafe
Offering a diverse, seasonal menu
Situated within the Gallery building
Welcome to the Gallery Café
The Gallery Café has been open since 2013 offering a diverse, seasonal menu complete with options for vegetarians and ‘free from’ diets. All our food is freshly made to order using locally sourced produce and which is organic where possible. We freshly bake a selection of scones each day along with a range of delicious homemade cakes. Our own baking is supplemented with produce from Angel Share bakery in nearby Richmond. In 2014 they were named runners-up in ITV’s ‘Britain’s Best Bakery’ competition. Local Micro Coffee Roasters, Rounton Coffee provide us with a supply of sustainably sourced coffee and we also serve Yorkshire Tea plus a range of speciality teas to cater for all tastes. Situated within the Gallery building, you can sample our delicious homemade food surrounded by Joe’s stunning landscape photography of northern England and beyond. There are additional seating areas on both floors of the gallery including ‘Snugs’ furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs. These create fantastic spaces for catching up with friends, relaxing with a book or enjoying the photography as you eat and drink. For those warmer months we have a wonderful courtyard offering a sunny outdoor corner in which to take a break, all located just yards from Northallerton High Street. We welcome cyclists and have a bike rack next to our courtyard so you can leave your bike while you refuel. We are also happy to refill water bottles. The café is located on the ground floor and has wheelchair access. The café courtyard can also be accessed either from the main gallery or from the street. There is a disabled toilet by the café entrance.
