We’re an independent speciality coffee business that began back in 2015 from a basement just off Scarborough’s high street.

Now, we’re based in Woodend, a beautiful Italianate Villa in Scarborough’s historical Crescent area, that houses many creative businesses, an art gallery, event space, conference rooms, and since September, coffee! We’re excited about coffee. Really excited about it! We’re to help find you one that you'll love, and serve it in a space where you can feel at home, whatever your style, whatever your preferences. We have a regularly rotating menu of Single Origin Filter Coffee & Espresso, from a variety of countries all over the world, brought to us by roasters across the country & beyond. Alongside the coffee, (because we love this stuff too) we’ve sourced some super special loose teas and herbal blends, and a range of single origin hot chocolates. We also have a carefully selected a range of soft drinks, for those of you who aren’t of the hot drinks persuasion. Alongside our drinks, we serve a selection of sweet treats. Perhaps most importantly of all, we love people. Coffee breeds community, and we’re here to provide somewhere stories can be told, friends can be met, ideas can be put into action, and life can be shared. We’ve met some wonderful people in our coffee lives at Yay so far, and we can’t wait to meet you! Team Yay
