As part of the Market Town Taverns group, Bar T’at has its roots firmly planted in providing great quality cask ales to both residents and visitors to Ilkley. With unrivalled access to hundreds of UK breweries, we’re able to offer a frequently changing selection of ales and premium beers, meaning there’s always something new to sample. At Bar T’at we’re proud to be a bit different with our drinks selection, we strive to seek out the world’s best beers, wines and premium spirits and look to provide our customers with a drinks experience they won’t get in other establishments. We follow the same ethos with food; selecting seasonal ingredients from local suppliers, all of our food is cooked from scratch using a team of talented chefs. Visitors to Bar T’at can choose to eat in the upstairs bar area or downstairs in our more formal restaurant, both of which have been recently refurbished. Our values remain the same as when we began; to offer great drinks, with homemade comfort food, in a warm and welcoming environment. FOOD We produce great tasting food and it’s been said that we serve the best chips in Ilkley! We source all of our ingredients from local suppliers to support local businesses but also to have full traceability on the dishes we serve. Our Head Chef produces seasonal menus that include meat, fish and vegetables when they’re at their very best. You’ll also find a regularly changing specials board that makes the most of seasonal produce. Diners can choose to eat in the upstairs bar area or downstairs in our more formal restaurant, both of which have been recently refurbished. DRINK At Bar T’at we’re passionate about drinks – from carefully selecting the brands that we serve, to training our staff; we put our heart and soul into providing a great experience to our customers. We began as an ale house – and whilst that will never change, we’ve evolved and grown to offer a comprehensive range of wines and spirits. We like to offer our customers new experiences, so we will always endeavour to give you something new to try and enjoy. Bar T’at has a great range of cask ales available; Timothy Taylor’s and Ilkley Brewery all have a permanent place on the bar with the remaining 5 pumps dedicated to an ever changing range of guest ales, to enabling customers to explore new brands. We always have a dark beer (mild, stout or porter) available and stock a wide range of premium bottled beers including a selection of lagers, wheat beers, IPAs, pale, dark and fruit beers. (Please see our drinks menu online for detailed list) With 12 wines available there’s something for all tastes, our staff attend regular training sessions in order to help with your decision, and they are always happy to suggest their favourites. We also have a comprehensive spirits range; you’ll find things in Bar T’at that you wouldn’t normally see in other establishments – from craft gins, to boutique whiskies with new and interesting rums.
