Homemade Cooking at The Castle Club When you want some heart-warming homemade cooking you may want to visit a well-established family run restaurant, using only the best in local produce.

Our family run venue was established in 1987 in a partnership between Fred and Linda McBride and our two sons Andy, our head chef and Mark, the bar manager. Our customer base varies from business people to caravanners and tourists. The “Caravan Club” which occupies the site adjacent to Forfar Loch and the local B&B’s frequently recommend us at The Castle Club. We cater for families with children, who are welcome subject to licensing laws, couples of all ages who may be celebrating or simply enjoying a night out. Food and Wine Menus vary from plain Scottish fare to dishes with a Continental or Asian Twist. All our food is cooked on the premises and made with fresh local ingredients. Our wine list will satisfy most tastes at reasonable prices, sold by the glass or the bottle.
