The Mountview Hotel is a traditional Scottish three-star country house hotel and restaurant based in Nethy Bridge at the heart of the Cairngorms National Park.

We are currently operating exclusively as home to Heatherlea, one of the UK’s leading birdwatching holiday providers. The Hotel and restaurant have been closed to all non-birdwatching clients since 18 March 2020. We will reopen our hotel and restaurant to non-residents as soon as possible. The Mountview Restaurant has earned a reputation for top quality, imaginative food and superb Scottish hospitality. This tradition still flourishes today as the hotel’s restaurant is a superb showcase for our locally sourced ingredients.
