We are dog, surfer, walker and family friendly pub with a sunny beer garden, as well as being just a two minute diversion from the Cornwall Coast Path.

Louisa and the team offer a warm & friendly welcome at their relaxed and informal village pub. The name bears testament to a near-by river which, until recently, spilled dark red water onto the beaches of Godrevy and Gwithian (caused by Iron Ore 'run-off' from the now defunct tin mines of Camborne and Redruth). So why not pop in and join us for a pint of the proper stuff; we feature many of our local Cornish microbreweries in addition to bringing in ales from as far as Scotland, Wales & even the Isles of Scilly!
