The Angel Inn Yarwell

Free house

Relaxed and casual atmosphere

The Angel Inn is privately owned, traditional 17th century free house pub set in the East Northamptonshire village of Yarwell - just one mile from the A1 and A47 junction.

Dog-friendly, - there's plenty of character from the outside and many characters within! This is how good pubs used to be - a real pub for real people without a trace of pretentiousness. "The Last Bastion of The Working Man" Lovely warm open fire (seasonal!), real ales, an extensive list of real ciders, dartboard, pool table as well as a huge beer garden. Dogs are welcome to join you either inside or out. We do have a bar menu, but are not a restaurant-style pub, there's plenty of those within a few miles radius of us, so we choose not to be one! We have entertainment on selected Saturday nights and weekly quiz on a Sunday. We are proud supporters of the Greyhound Trust and our local dog charity, Animal Helpline. We very much look forward to welcoming humble people to our traditional, olde-worlde abode! Be part of what makes this pub what it is - nice people. We're just doing our bit to keep the true British Pub alive and well.
