The Ashmolean’s Rooftop Restaurant sits, as its name suggests, right on top of the world’s oldest museum. Floor to ceiling glass windows open out onto a large terrace – perfect for alfresco drinks and dining when the weather allows – affording terrific views of the picturesque spires of Oxford. Afternoon tea is a speciality, often themed to tie-in with whatever exhibition is showing. Where possible we use locally sourced produce and there’s always choices available for different dietary needs
